Lucy is stepping into a gig that was previously occupied by Jenny McCarthy since 2010, and she will have some esteemed company.
Ryan and Lucy will be joined by Pose star Billy Porter and singer Ciara, the broadcast’s home network ABC announced.
Ciara has just hostessed the American Music Awards, which are also a collaboration between ABC and Dick Clark Productions.
Although Dick Clark was always the man behind the special, the first two years were hosted by the rock band Three Dog Night and comedian George Carlin.
